    Reiboldt Mallonee Construction (RMC) is highly recommended. They do top quality work that exemplifies strong structure, and excellent fit and finish. RMC undertook a very challenging roof replacement and upstairs attic addition for us. Our house had been plagued with a leaking flat roof for years. It was a source of constant misery. After several site visits, and much thoughtful consideration, Glen Reiboldt designed an excellent roof alternative using a clever system of computer-designed trusses. At the same time, he saved our existing architectural mansard using a system of temporary structural braces. Tom Mallonee, with Glen, supervised the removal of the moisture-damaged old roof, installed the new trusses (with the help of an on-site truck-crane), installed new roof sheathing and architectural shingles. Windows were also part of the project. Electrical upgrades were performed by Ken Dyer of S&K Electric, and a fireplace chimney extension was done by PMC (Padilla Masonry Company) with Glen ably helping his friend with the brick work. This project has been a continuing blessing for our family. Gone are the days of water damage to our interior ceilings, and no more shoveling snow off the roof in the middle of winter. Again, the work was top quality, all permits and subcontracting went smoothly, and the project was completed on budget, in a timely fashion.     Tom came highly recommended to us, and the entire process of remodeling our living area, open kitchen, and front entryway from beginning to end far exceeded our expectations. In fact, we didn't want it to end, although our budget said otherwise. Tom's work was impeccable and when we didn't know what we wanted, Tom helped us get to a fabulous solution. We were many times impressed with his and his team's attention to detail, his ability to work so efficiently, keep us updated on timelines, work within our pre-set budget - without crazy surprises - and overall leave us with no regrets. We were never left wondering when he would arrive or when he would leave. He seemed to have a great rapport with any subcontractors, and we could tell he has high standards in selecting who he works with. We actually bid out this project and met with many competitors in the area, but Tom had the best vision and was the most efficient in his process, making it very clear he cared that the outcome would be at a level he'd be proud of and that we would be excited about. We HIGHLY recommend him and would reach out to him again without hesitation. Our only regret is that it has taken us an embarrassing amount of time to post this review. It's not often that you can show someone a photo of a piece of furniture that is on backorder and hard to get and they offer to hand-make it for you, for less... and that the final product is even more beautiful and of better quality that the original. Tom transformed our entire boring and gloomy entryway and living space/open kitchen into the bright, welcoming and well-crafted space it continues to be today. I'd have him do the exact same in a heartbeat. If someone asked me whether he does good work, I'd say most definitely. He'll do each task as if he were working on his own home, with the eye of an artist, and the care of someone who's conscience and wife are watching over each shoulder. We never had to call Tom to re-work anything. He always cleaned up, and treated our home and us with the deepest respect. Tom is a stand-up gentleman and someone we would not hesitate to call again, in fact we have and he has been most helpful and open. See more See less
